Frequently Asked Questions
If you have ordered shoes from the brand Saltic, the delivery time for those shoes is approximately 3-6 weeks. They are handmade by a small family business in the Czech Republic and we at Tjåkko have no way of influencing the delivery time. But true craftsmanship is always worth the wait, we promise!
If you have ordered shoes from another brand, it is likely that the particular model/color/size you have ordered has been out of stock in our local warehouse and we will soon receive a delivery from our supplier. As soon as we have the shoes in stock, they will be sent out to you.
If you pay with Qliro you have the option to shop on a 90-day interest-free invoice. With Klarna you have 30 days interest-free. We recommend our Saltic customers to pay with Qliro if they want to wait to pay until the shoes have been delivered.
Our different brands and models vary in size. On each product page you will find a size chart for that particular model. Measure your feet and choose a size that is about 1-1.5 cm longer than your feet. Many models also state the width.
If you measure your feet and compare carefully with the size chart before ordering, you will reduce the risk of having to change sizes. The fewer packages that need to be sent, the better for our environment.
Regarding boots from Samelin, they are generally very wide. The models called Aviator are narrow in the model and fit narrow-normal feet. The 511 series are normal width and the other models are wide and fit you with really wide feet.

No, Tjåkko is a purely online store. We have an office with a warehouse in Tumba, south of Stockholm. You are welcome there by appointment if you feel like trying things out on site.
No, they are conventionally built with cushioning and height, thick soles. That's why they have their own section on our website and are not under "Barefoot shoes".
Most boot models are very wide and therefore do not squeeze the foot like a regular boot does.
We want to sell good, high-quality shoes and think that Samelins & AIPI's boots fit well into our range of shoes that provide space for our wide, Scandinavian feet.
We are retailers ourselves. Some of the shoes we sell are also available in other Swedish stores, while we are the only ones in Sweden with other brands.
